Early Treatment
The American Association of Orthodontists recommends children have their first orthodontic evaluation by age 7. At this stage, Dr. Chung can identify developing issues with jaw growth, bite alignment, and spacing before they become more complex.
Phase I treatment uses targeted appliances to guide proper jaw development, create space for permanent teeth, and correct crossbites or harmful habits. Early intervention often simplifies or shortens Phase II treatment later.
